ALLEGED UNLESS CONVICTED
A person is presumed innocent until a court says otherwise. We call someone convicted only when a court has convicted them or they pleaded guilty. Everyone else is described as charged, accused or alleged.
Court filings, press releases from prosecutors and regulators, and reporting by established news outlets, each linked in the case file. Where sources disagree, we say so. Figures can mean different things (money taken, money lost, value at the time); each page says which.
FraudBook (TraceChain Forensics) is an independent information site. We are not affiliated with any law-enforcement agency, regulator, court or government, and we are not connected to Fraud.org or the National Consumers League.
Use the Corrections page. We check, fix the page and note the change.
